2024 Agenda
2024, the centenary year of the Trinity. For 12 highly intense months, Cartier will be celebrating love and diversity. A 12-month calendar of events which, from its history to design, through to the symbolism and very essence of its creation, will reveal all the facets of this inexhaustible source of inspiration.
It will also be an opportunity to invite creative minds to express their vision of this jewelry icon through a unique work of art, and to invite the Trinity community from all over the world to join us.
Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain − Where? Paris, France
From early December 2023 to late April 2024, the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain will present “Le Souffle de l’architect or The Architect’s Breath”, from Bijoy Jain / Studio Mumbai. This exhibition-manifesto invites the public on a journey to the heart of the Indian architect’s aethestic and philosophy.
Cartier Collection − Where? Seoul, Korea
After Tokyo in 2019, the “Cartier, Crystallization of Time” exhibition will move to Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul from April to June, 2024. An opportunity to discover this event which, through a scenography designed by Hiroshi Sugimoto and Tomoyuki Sakakida of the New Material Research Laboratory, explores the creative vision and pioneering spirit of the Maison.
Boutique opening − Where? Auckland, New Zealand
Cartier continues its story and arrives in New Zealand in June. The Maison will open the doors of its first boutique in the country at 66 Queen Street in Auckland.
La Biennale di Venezia – Where? Venice, Italy
As the official partner of the Venice International Film Festival, Cartier will participate in its 81st edition in 2024. It is both a prestigious celebration of cinematographic creativity and the moment to present the Cartier Glory to the Filmmaker Award to a personality who has made a particularly original contribution to cinema.
Cartier Collection – Where? Shanghai, China
From November 4th, 2024 to February 16th, 2025, the Cartier Collection will be displayed at the New Shanghai Museum for a new exhibition in China, 20 years after a retrospective premiere in 2004 at the Shanghai Museum.
